SC EP:1240 Special Guest Bentley St John

I apologize for the late posting, I really wanted to chat with Bentley and I ran into a lot of audio issues but I think I got everything fix. Please welcome my special guest tonight. Twelve-year-old Bentley St John says he’s ‘pretty mad’ about getting hit while crossing at a crosswalk. His family wants the driver to turn themselves in to police.

      Evil is around us more than we even realize, till exactly this happens. Bentley, You’re very important. Don’t let that driver that hit you and the cars that drove by you make you feel less than your worth. They’re bad. You’re innocent, made of only good, better, than they will ever be. Heal up buddy and keep shining you little Star!

    All the police need to do is pull a Google/apple cellphone location data for the time and date using a geofence warrant and bam they’ll have just a few suspects to chose from and then some old fashioned interrogation techniques and you got yourself a suspect …. Come on lazy cops do your jobs haha

    Hey Bentley when I was your age I was in a FULL BODY CAST for six months and just like me you will heal up just like new and the best part when you get older you won’t even remember the pain u probably feel now I barely remember being in my cast . Get well soon you’re a strong 💪 kid hopefully they catch the bad guy that hit you with the car !

    I can’t help but think about how many 12 year olds in the world have not been as lucky as Bentley over the past six months. Just kids trying to live their lives despite the bombs and war. Guess I’m woke like that.

    I would flip out if this show ever ended. I’ve been here listening multiple times a day since you started this show so yeah I wouldn’t know what to do with myself. Lol this show made me a huge cryptid nerd. But thats crazy that these people drove around this kid dude there is no hope for humanity. Just imagine 50 years from now how bad it’ll be.

    I’m almost more upset about the people who drove past him and drove around him than I am about the car that hit him…almost. who sees a kid trying to roll themselves out of the street so that they don’t get hit again, and just drives around them??? they should be held equally accountable. scum

    So sorry this has happened to you, Bentley. You’re in prayer for a full recovery.

    The driver probably didn’t stop because he has warrants, was intoxicated, or has no license…all of which are not reasons for not stopping and rendering aid. It was shocking to see traffic just navigate around you and not stop either.

    that was a great episode! I was at a friend’s house last night, and his wife said that his son wanted me to know that he’s been reading about Bigfoot. then today he sent me a picture that his mother-in-law made a t-shirt with a Bigfoot image on the front and a cool footprint pattern on the back and they were out at a local park searching for Bigfoot. I sent him a link to tonight’s episode, especially with Bentley being the guest, I thought it would be a good introduction to the show. it was a neat little bit of History of the show, along with a little bit more of a personal touch about Wes himself. himself. Great show again, it was worth the wait

    Thanks to God and Bentley’s quick insticts that he was not hurt worse. The St. John deceased family may have also has a part. Be patient Ventley as much as you can and perhaps listen to the increasing and good bigfoot podcasts which tell us more I think about these beings or creatures than most of evidence.

    Our society it seems had become so much more impatient and during and after Covid. People drive much faster above speed limits and seems police are less apt to pull people over due to potential bad publicity, litigation and jail that could befall them in confrontations these days. Add cell phones and texting and one’s surprised there are not more vehicle and pedestrian accidents. I’m guilty of the latter too. Bentley’s case is a reminder to just slow down in driving and life to extent and smell the roses versus being sure to get to next destination such as McDonals by 10:30am for their breakfast.

    Awesome Bentley buddy, I got hit by a car too and the person kept going. I know there are angels because if there wasn’t, I wouldn’t be here either. It was by seconds and inches. You were safe, cautious and did everything correctly as you crossed. And to roll away as you did, you are freaking amazing. A guy on the crew picked me up and moved me off the road and the backhoe operator actually apprehended the assailant 4 blocks away with a crew member who actually jumped on the backhoe too. The person who hit me was high on LSD at 715am. We never know what’s going on with other people. So glad your dad reached out to Wes. Wes is an amazing, humble, intelligent, classy dude. So is your Dad. I made it through and am on the otherside getting stronger all the time. With your families love and support and now the Sasquatch Chronicles family, there’s nothing you can’t do!! Oh and I was introduced to Sasquatch Chronicles by a gf. I couldn’t do much after being rundown and Wes’s podcast nursed me back to health. Best wishes and continued healing Bently.

    Oh my—well wishes Bentley! your an amazing strong young man. I wish you the best with your recovery! I hope the person that hits you turns himself in. you deserve that! Hang in there! thank you Wes! where I live I am a crossing guard for my city. and I definitely have had very close calls myself! Walking into hoods of cars as I turn to walk off the road. A car coming writhing an inch of my leg and having to put my hand on the hood and pushing myself out of the way before my leg getting run over.

    What a terrific and heart felt episode with Bently after such a horrific hit and run driver. Im sure it helped his state of being hopefully very much. It seems more and more of these hit and runs take place these days, without the driver coming forth. My first wife in Palm Springs was the driver of a hit and run, and though it was deemed the fault of a very elderly man, she did stop and the police soon arrived.

    For Bentley and Dad here is a Canadian case that has stuck with me for many years and has been investigated several times since it took place in 1941 in neighboring Manitoba Province. Mind you it did not end well for the Sasquatch.

    what a great show, Wes….all the best to Bently and his dad….as far as the show, and the advertisements, i so agree…when i listen to other podcasts, is so annoying to listen to the commercials, and then, i find myself not listening to them as often or, at all….im stuck on this one…it is my favorite…and ill listen til you stop, Wes…so, please dont…

I was floored at the cars that just drove by, agree with big sis that it was heartbreaking to see Bentley drag himself off the road but also agree with Wes that his strength and strong mental fortitude to pull himself off the open road was pretty inspiring.     it makes me sick that person who hit this kid didn’t stop and Whats worse others drove by him and didn’t stop either! it really really pathetic and I hope justice finds this person and I hope those of you that drove through the intersection and didn’t stop I hope you all are embarrassed as hell and I’d be posting signs everywhere of this car.

    Hi Wes!
    I LOVE your show and your format without commercials because, as a listener, I can hear the whole interview without interruptions. I used to be a member of Coast-to-Coast for about four or five years, maybe more, but I ended my membership because George Noory had way too many commercials (I think he invested in the products, too), and they cut to commercials in mid-interview, like when we are watching TV. It became too annoying. I WOULD RATHER PAY MORE FOR YOUR PODCAST THAN HEAR COMMERCIALS.

    Grab that date and time and start hunting down every camera down that street. Does Canada have redlight cameras in that area? I have a feeling a detective will figure this out.

    Cell phone data, OnStar type gps data etc etc can also be added up but needs to be done quickly before they fix the car. I’m betting the mirror was damaged along with the quarter panel.
    Monitor the repair shops to boot.
